Naman Nishesh
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at UNC Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School. My research lies at the intersection of financial intermediation, household finance, and labor and corporate finance, with a focus on how frictions shape the allocation and productivity of labor and capital.
Prior to joining UNC, I was a Research Associate at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and an Analyst at Goldman Sachs India. I hold an integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
I will be on the 2026–27 academic job market.
